Client Manager (Tax)
We are looking for a Client Manager in our tax department to join the friendly team at our offices based in Gomshall, just outside Guildford.Â
Basic experience and expertise
The successful candidate will be a personal tax specialist, able to run a compliance portfolio of around 120 clients, ranging from company director returns to sizeable investment portfolios, partnerships and trusts.
The candidate would be able to work autonomously and would be responsible for all aspects of client servicing including:
- Dealing with ad hoc queries.
- Identifying planning needs.
- Billing.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the client.
More experienced candidates
We would also consider a more experienced candidate with a good understanding of:
- Trusts.
- Pension planning.
- EIS and VCTs.
- Inheritance Tax planning.
- VAT.
Highest-level candidates
For the highest-level candidate, we would expect the ability to assist the Tax Partner with personal and corporate tax advice and planning, including:
- Private company restructuring and sale.
- Share schemes.
- Corporate finance.
- Due diligence.
